The establishment, located between Via della Spada and Piazza San Pancrazio, was founded in the late 1940s as a grocery store selling food items, as well as a bar and tobacco shop. Since 1973, it has been managed by the couple Armando and Miranda Bati, who have run it up to the present day with the help of their daughters Laura and Serena, turning it into a true gathering place, a hub for socializing, and a point of reference for the entire neighborhood. The venue still retains its original 1970s decor, including the Petrini counter and Murano chandeliers.
