The Bar Tabacchi La Posta was established in the early 1900s, located in front of the arcades of the central post office, on the side of Via Pellicceria, which was larger than the current one. Inside, alongside the café and tobacco activities, there was a billiard room, and the semi-basement was set up for the game of Pallai. Even today, the smooth stone rails marking the perimeter of the game can still be seen. In the late 1940s, the premises were reduced to the current two storefronts on Via Pellicceria and one on Via dei Lamberti, continuing only the café and tobacco business. The establishment has recently been restored
