Since 1942
The business was inaugurated by Ferdinando Tonarelli, the grandfather of the current owner Maurizio, in 1942. Over the years, the management of the bar passed to Roberto and Umberto Sisi, relatives of Ferdinando, before becoming a partnership under the name Tonarelli-Sisi. In 1976, the business was handed over to Paolo Tonarelli and then to the couple Maurizio Tonarelli and Donatella Capecchi in 1986. The shop is located in front of the Santa Maria Novella station and offers customers fresh pastries, savory items, and also serves as a tobacco shop.
