Tiberio Tozzi buys, sells, and restores antique furniture. In the workshop on Via de’ Marsili, he still continues the long and consolidated artisan tradition of an early 1900s workshop, carrying on the business started by his father Franco, who in turn had taken it over from Mr Fabiani. Tozzi conducts his business in the palace built by the civil and military architect of Medici Florence, the painter, sculptor, and set designer, Bernardo Buontalenti, called “delle Girandole”, who decorated it with beautiful graffiti and frescoes. The palace was the club and meeting place of elite intellects, Torquato Tasso the first among them, who died there in 1608.
