The Buca 27 shop takes its name from the characteristic space it occupies, located in a section of the former Collegio degli Scolopi in Piazza San Lorenzo. The shop consists of two vaulted rooms connected by a corridor. The premises were renovated and modernized in 2000. The business was started in the early 20th century by the great-grandfather of the current owner, where it was possible to purchase work clothing such as butcher coats and overalls for workers. In 1985, the management passed to the father, and later, the son joined the business as an employee. The street-facing display, enclosed by a fabric curtain, showcases goods such as footwear and clothing items.
