The Campolmi Ortofrutta store is located in a section of an ancient convent dedicated to Santa Cecilia, from which the small square at the back takes its name. According to documents, the business began in 1958 with Mrs. Loriana Vitali, although the grandfather of the current owner, Giovanni Campolmi, recalled the store’s existence as early as the 1940s, having lived on Via Vacchereccia. This store, well integrated into the social fabric of the neighborhood, has always been considered a point of reference for the local community, especially in recent years when small shops in the city center have drastically declined. Giovanni Campolmi, who had known the store since childhood, took over the business in 2002.
