The stationery shop was opened in 1932, coinciding with the inauguration of the Re Vittorio Emanuele school, now Giacomo Matteotti, which was officially opened by Queen Margherita on October 28, 1932. The shop has been in operation for over 80 years, changing ownership several times over the years. Since August 3, 1971, it has been managed by the Conti family.
