The stationery shop La Scartoffia in Piazza S. Spirito began its activity in the 1930s, and entire generations of children have bought notebooks and toys from this historic store. It is located in a space within an ancient building that, even before the 1930s, housed a butcher shop, as evidenced by the old sign still displayed on the marble arch above the shop’s entrance.
