The Casa dei Tessuti was founded in 1929 by Egisto Romoli. The Romoli brothers, Romano and Romolo, sons of Egisto and current managers of the store, have always been committed to contributing to the training of young designers, in addition to marketing the best quality fabrics. Romani Romoli set up a genuine museum of the history of textiles in the shop. The collection also includes objects of great historical and artistic value, such as a 16th century loom and some 18th century yarn.
