San Lorenzo

History

Since 1997

The Crazy Shirt business is located in one of the niches of Piazza San Lorenzo and is marked by a white sign with the black inscription “Crazy Shirts” along the streetfront. The underground sales room features the typical architecture of the niches in the former Collegio degli Scolopi, with vaulted ceilings, wooden plank flooring, and exposed brick walls. Access is through a staircase, enclosed by original wooden shutters from 1870. The Bazzani family has been involved in retail for decades, with grandfather Renato selling Florentine straw goods such as hats, bags, and leather footwear typical of the 1950s and 1960s. Currently, at Crazy Shirt, customers can purchase t-shirts, gift items, and souvenirs.
