The Delcor haberdashery originates from the old and renowned Florentine haberdashery Anzellotti, located, since 1922, where the Bar Giacosa is today. Right from the start, Mr Nello Del Bimbo began working there as an employee, when he was very young. So, when Anzellotti decided to leave the business, in 1962, Nello, by now an expert in the profession, decided to take over the business together with his son Gianni Del Bimbo. The haberdashery, which later moved to adjacent premises, still remains a landmark for the numerous tailors on Via Tornabuoni, as specialists in buttons, yarns, and tailoring items. At the beginning of the 1980s, the company’s evolution began, specialising in men’s and women’s underwear, women’s lingerie, and men’s and women’s hosiery.
