The story of Eugenio Zolfanelli Artistic Leather Goods began in 1948, when Eugenio Zolfanelli opened the current shop in Piazza Pitti to sell leather items. Even at that time, the business attracted the attention of many tourists, which is why it still displays the English sign “Artistic Leather” on the front of Palazzo Temple Leader. Over time, the management was passed on to his granddaughter, Gabriella Cremonesi, who is the current owner. As evidenced by historical photographs found inside the shop, it still features the original wrought iron decorated showcase and furnishings, such as the display cabinets, small wardrobes, shelving, and counter, all dating back to 1948.
