The artisanal goldsmith workshop Fratelli Chilleri was founded at the end of the 19th century in Florence by the brother of the great-grandfather of the current owner, Leonardo Chilleri. The development of their professional activity spanned many areas of goldsmithing: watchmaking, engraving, jewelry, and gemstone setting. The Chilleri family became a point of reference in the city, with Luigi Chilleri, Leonardo’s father, being commissioned to create the panels for the fence of Santa Maria del Fiore. In the early 2000s, Leonardo expanded the business to international markets, following in the footsteps of his uncle Giorgio Chilleri, who had started doing the same in the 1990s. To this day, the jewelry is entirely handmade, from design to finished product, crafted with professional expertise and deep knowledge of the craft.
