The Fratelli Fiaschi business was founded by the current owners’ grandmother, Edelfina Bacci, in 1937. In 1955, she was succeeded by her children Genovina, Guido, Alberta, and Mario, who collectively managed the shop until 1964, when it became Mario’s sole proprietorship. In 1979, Mario was succeeded by his sons Riccardo and Alessandro, who, starting in 2016, entrusted the management of the shop to third parties. The interior of the shop, with its barrel-vaulted ceiling and terrazzo flooring, is typical of the niches in the former Collegio degli Scolopi area. Along the street front, the shop is marked by a display showcasing the goods for sale: hats, footwear, scarves, and accessories.
