History

Since

The Farmacia Roma Universale, founded in 1593, was traditionally a meeting place for intellectuals and artists, among whom the name of Carlo Collodi is remembered. The original name of the pharmacy was London, derived from an external lamp, still displayed today, which once belonged to a pharmacy in London. With the exception of the lamp, no old furnishings have been preserved, and the store now has a modern appearance. The current owner is Dr. Franca Meloni, who, in selecting the products to complement traditional medicines, places significant emphasis on homeopathic, natural products, as well as items for hygiene, skin health, and for children.
