La Fiaschetteria was founded around the beginning of the 20th century as a wine shop, where “fiaccherai” (cart drivers), porters, and carters would spend their free time playing cards and chatting, sitting by the door while enjoying a good glass of wine, often accompanied by hard-boiled eggs or the classic “roventini” and “coccoli” bought from a nearby fryer.
In 1947, the business was taken over by the Fantappiè family, who still manage it today. The establishment now offers and sells the finest Tuscan and Italian wines, including sought-after selections like Sassicaia and Tignanello. Additionally, the Fiaschetteria offers genuine Tuscan olive oils and the best international liquor brands, continuing its legacy as a place for both locals and visitors to enjoy high-quality Italian products.
