In 1960, Aldo and Tosca Galanti opened the historic establishment in Piazza della Libertà, in the heart of Florence. Since then, Galanti has become synonymous with fine gastronomy, deeply rooted in traditional peasant cuisine. Today, new recipes and reinterpretations of old ones, such as soups, risottos, ribollita, chicken galantine, salt cod, and peposo, are among the specialties not to be missed in the wide daily selection, to be enjoyed inside the restaurant, in the outdoor area under the porticos, or to take away. Everything is cooked exclusively with extra virgin olive oil and high-quality ingredients. It is also possible to book lunches and dinners for home delivery, small receptions, or even business meetings. A carefully curated selection of wines, cheeses, and other specialties enhances the Galanti offering, inspiring exquisite and highly appreciated gift baskets made to order.
