This bookshop offers a wide assortment of used and out-of-print books and numerous music scores.Since 1937, the business, located in the old convent that today houses the Liceo Classico Galileo, has always been run by the Giorni family. In a photo taken in 1910, it appears that, in a pure case of homonymy, the business then active in the same premises displayed the same name on the sign as that of the current owners, without there being any relationship between them. During the Fascist period, it was possible to find texts that the regime did not appreciate in the Giorni bookshop. The bookshop, located in a vaulted basement, very close to the Duomo, has a vast assortment of used and out-of-print books the contents of which range from art to culture in general. It also specialises in classical and opera music; here you can find musical scores. From the 1950s onwards, prints, both original and reproductions, were added to the books.
