Since 1969
Active since 1954 in a nearby location, in 1969 the Baccellini company moved to its present location taking over a similar business, which had been there since 1915. Initially known as a simple grocery store, in the eighties it extended its business to delicatessen products made according to natural methods, seeking to respect the genuine flavours of the past and strictly adhering to traditional Tuscan cooking. The building, which in the past was part of an ancient convent, no longer has furniture of particular historical importance, since it was replaced after the flood of 1966. The two “hooks” for attaching the hams are original, having been saved from the waters of the Arno.
