History
Since 1950
Founded in 1954 by Mrs. Margherita Paroli Faraboschi to accommodate the many tourists who chose Florence as their preferred vacation destination, the Hotel Alessandra is located in the heart of the city, in the ancient Roman and medieval Florence, just steps from the Ponte Vecchio, the Uffizi Gallery, and other major cultural, tourist, and commercial attractions. The management was taken over by Mrs. Teresa Tancredi, who ran it for a few years before passing it on to the current owners, Anna and Arnaldo Gennarini, who acquired the hotel in 1970 and continue to manage it, preserving the most ancient and noble art of hospitality. Over the years, they have expanded the hotel and renovated it, adapting it to modern tastes.
