Hotel Balestri

History

Since 1888

The Balestri Hotel was founded in 1888 in the ancient Piazza delle Travi. The area where the hotel is located can be found in old maps of the city. The original building was a group of houses dating back to the 14th century and belonged to the Alberti family. From the second half of the 19th century, the building was transformed into a guesthouse and later into a hotel through the unification of the various structures. In 2015, it underwent a significant restoration to meet modern quality standards, upgrading from a three-star to a four-star hotel.
