Il Bronzetto was founded in 1963 in Oltrarno, a historic district of Florence, as an artisan workshop specialized in the production of brass and bronze items. One of the founding partners, Antonio Calcinai, brought in his sons Pierfrancesco and Simone in 1996. The business then transitioned into a family-run operation, and with the involvement of the young brothers, it adopted a dynamic approach, collaborating with architects, designers, and general contractors. In recent years, with the addition of three more partners, Il Bronzetto has evolved into a craft company capable of executing special projects, creating prototypes, and conducting feasibility studies for high-quality custom-made products.
