Descended from an ancient Florentine family registered in the 1300s in the Guild of Blacksmiths, the Lastrucci-Trabucchi family has passed down the management of the business from father to son since 1915. Specializing in typical leather and wood handcrafted items, the Bottega d’Arte Lastrucci produces all wood articles by hand using ancient crafting techniques that involve the use of natural paints and colors. The Bottega d’Arte Lastrucci also works with ceramic artists from Deruta (one of the most important centers in central Italy for the production of artistic ceramics) and Florence. Currently, the business is run by Elena Trabucchi, a representative of the new generation. Most of the furnishings date back to the late 19th century.
