History
Since 1950
The Liverano brothers began to work as assistants in the Pugliese tailoring workshops when they were young. At the end of the 1940s, Luigi Liverano moved to Florence to work for Commessanti, one of the most prestigious tailors in the city at the time. Two years later, Antonio moved to Florence, at only eleven years old, to work in his brother Luigi’s new atelier on Via Panzani. In 1960, the atelier was called Liverano & Liverano and moved to Santa Maria Novella. Twenty years later, the business moved to its current location, near the Arno, on Via dei Fossi.
