The Londi Pesca business was founded in 1923 when Raffaello Londi opened the first store on Via dei Serragli, selling birds and hunting calls. The store was moved to Via Romana in 1932, during which time the owners began manufacturing fishing rods, and later to Piazza Pitti in 1969. In 1981, the business expanded and specialized in various fishing techniques, becoming a point of reference for fishermen. In 1989, it was moved to its current location on Viale Aleardi, where it is still managed by Francesca Londi.
