The Pugi bakery opened in Florence on Via A. F. Doni in 1954, founded by Gianfranco Pugi and his wife Carla. Gianfranco began his career working with his father and brother at the bakery on Via De Amicis. The production is artisanal, using high-quality raw materials. The business has been passed down to their sons, Marco and Paolo, who manage the bakery with a focus on tradition while also introducing new products.
