Since 1885
Procacci is one of the oldest delicatessens in the city. Founded in 1885 by Leopoldo Procacci, with its historical, artistic, and artisan heritage, it quickly gained wide fame among the citizens especially with its culinary products related to truffle processing. Its truffle sandwiches became, and are still today, a renowned speciality. In 1925, the business received the Royal Arms from King Vittorio Emanuele III, with the Patent of the Royal House. Over the years, its production has grown continuously and there have been several branches open in Italy for some years now.
