The business of Paolella Andrea takes its name from the current owner, who is the great-grandson of the founder Bruno Dolfi. The store was inaugurated at the beginning of the 20th century and was passed on to the founder’s daughter in the mid-1960s, who later transferred it to one of the employees through the Dolfi-Pasqualetti partnership. The shop is located in one of the characteristic niches of Piazza San Lorenzo, within the former Collegio degli Scolopi. Despite the modernization in 2014, the interior still features typical architectural elements, such as vaulted ceilings and terrazzo flooring. The shoes and bags for sale are displayed both inside the store on shelves and outside, visible through the street-facing window display.
