Pelletteria Artigiana Viviani

District

San Lorenzo

History

Since 1965

Created by the master craftsman Renato Viviani, the Pelletteria Artigiana has been located on Via Guelfa 3/a in a historic building in the city centre since its foundation in 1965. (The building was, among other things, the home of the famous architect Giuseppe Poggi, the most important 19th century Florentine architect).
Pelletteria Artigiana Viviani immediately distinguished itself as an ideal continuation of the centuries-old tradition of Florentine workshops.
Today the leather works are carried on by Renato’s daughter, Viviana with her husband Francesco, as well as by her grandson Leonardo, who work with pride respecting a tradition that has its roots in the past. Three generations that have continued a unique craftsmanship, distinguished by beauty and practicality.
