The Natalino restaurant dates back to 1880, in the area where the Church of San Pier Maggiore once stood, demolished in 1783. Originally known as Antica Trattoria Venezia and later Ristorante Nella, it took its current name in 1963, after its owner Nigi Natale. The main dining room was inaugurated in 1968 with the creation of the fresco by Stefanelli, a frequent diner, which depicts Mr. Natale and Maestro Pietro Annigoni on the left. The Ristorante Osteria Natalino has been managed for over twenty years by the Mazzanti family, who have successfully preserved and maintained the invaluable simplicity of a genuine cuisine rooted in Florentine tradition.
