Since 1957
In 1957, Rolle Bruno, the last in a family line of blacksmiths, found himself unable to support his family with his trade. At that time, he decided to shift careers and applied for and obtained a license to sell civaie (a type of agricultural lime) and fertilizers at Via di Peretola 471. The business was initially run from a small room at the back of his home.
In April 1966, Bruno moved the business to Via di Peretola 362. Unfortunately, on November 4, 1966, he lost everything. However, in February 1989, he relocated the business to its current location at Via di Brozzi 42/a in Florence, where it continues to operate today.
