The jewelry and goldsmith shop Romano Balatri was founded in January 1973 by Romano Balatri. Starting in 1976, employees Giovanni Mugnaini, Leonardo Balatri, and Patrizia Marinari joined the business. After the founder’s death in 2013, his son Andrea Balatri took over; in 2015, the three employees acquired the business, becoming the new owners. The jewelry shop aims to provide a platform for artisans, with a particular focus on craftsmanship and “Made in Florence,” as well as offering services in goldsmithing, silversmithing, watchmaking, and repairs.
