History

Since 1952

The business was started in Via dei Cerchi. Antonietta, the grandmother of the current owner, completed her first project by providing costumes for the theatrical part of the film I Vitelloni by Federico Fellini, which was filmed at the Goldoni Cinema Theatre in Florence. From the 1980s, after a meeting with Artusi, the tailor shop began working for the Calcio Storico Fiorentino, a commission that lasted until four years ago. Today, Sartoria Teatrale Antonietta creates, sells, and rents costumes for historical reenactments from all periods, theatrical productions, opera performances, and period films.
