Since 1952
In 1963, at Piazza Leon Battista Alberti 10, near the historic Villa Arrivabene, the Scuola Guida Affrico was established to prepare and present students for driving exams to obtain licenses for vehicles A-B-C-D-E in the 2nd district of Florence. The driving school was founded by Mr. Romano Misuri and quickly became an important reference point for the locals due to the quality and professionalism offered in driver education for motor vehicles.
On September 1, 1986, the school moved to number 6/7, still in Piazza Leon Battista Alberti, remaining loyal to the neighborhood. In July 2006, the business was sold to Antonio Cariello, who held the necessary qualifications and, more importantly, was captivated by the experiences and stories of Mr. Misuri, with whom he had established a trusting and personal relationship. Mr. Misuri’s only concern was finding a successor who would continue with the same love and dedication the work he had started and managed, preserving his life’s experience.
One of the greatest satisfactions is hearing people say: “I brought my daughter here to get her license, but both my father and I got ours here too.”
