Since 1969
The Batacchi company was founded in 1969 by Sergio Batacchi for the creation of silverware items such as jewelry boxes, compacts, and frames. In the 1980s, the business specialized in the production of gold jewelry, studying and reviving traditional elements and techniques of Florentine goldsmithing, such as repoussé engraving, openwork, burin engraving, niello, damascening, and chasing. In 1988, Filippo joined his father in the goldsmithing business, developing his own style while maintaining a production that blends tradition with customers’ tastes and needs. After his father Sergio’s passing, Filippo took over the management of the business, continuing the family tradition and participating in international exhibitions and competitions.
