The restaurant “Tavernetta della Signoria,” a venue dating back to the 1800s, has even older roots. It gained fame in Florence during the first half of the 20th century under the name “Il Fagiano.” Recently, it was acquired by “La Ristorazione Italiana SRL,” a company that owns several restaurants in Florence and has been in the industry for years. The new owners have preserved the original structures and furnishings of the establishment. Notable examples include the vaulted ceilings with sandstone capitals, traditional brick arches, terracotta floors, and many other distinctive details, blending a classic and refined style.
The restaurant places a strong emphasis on the quality of its cuisine and service, with the aim of restoring the venue to its former glory. The menu offers both traditional Tuscan dishes as well as a variety of national and international cuisine, accompanied by a wide and varied selection of wines.
