Since 1943
Founded in 1943, in the former stables of Palazzo Frescobaldi, where there was a wine bar since the beginning of the 20th century, this trattoria took the name “Angiolino” in 1952. Even today, the adventurer can rediscover the taste of true Florentine cuisine here; the owner pays a lot of attention to matching wines with the different dishes, in order to enhance the taste and flavour of tradition. The excellence of the cooking is combined with a characteristic ambience, furnished in traditional style. The large vaulted hall is very particular; here, a beautiful cast iron stove from the late 1800s and four wooden and wrought iron chandeliers from the early 1900s stand out, as well as a marble counter placed at the entrance of the restaurant.
