San Lorenzo

History

Since 1930

The origins of this trattoria date back to the Florentine Middle Ages when the Antellesi or dell’Antella family, of German descent, arrived in Tuscany around the 11th century. When the government of the city changed, the Antellesi were forced to give up all their possessions and began their restaurant business. The Antellesi trattoria, located between the San Lorenzo market and the Santa Maria Novella station, offers a Tuscan menu comprising tasty dishes faithful to tradition and, for over thirty years, has always stood out for the freshness of the products it uses. The appearance of the restaurant, set in a 17th century property, still retains the characteristics of a sober, early 20th century trattoria, with displays of vegetables and fresh fruit. Today, this historic Florence restaurant makes use of the decades of experience of the Europa service group, with the aim of bringing the seasonality and authenticity of its products to the table.
