Trattoria Braciere Malatesta was founded in 1954 by Sergio Baglioni and Silvia Banni under the name “La Lampara,” referring to the lantern traditionally used on fishing boats. In 2020, the business adopted its current name and is now managed by Sergio’s granddaughter and her partner. The recently renovated interior preserves original furnishings, including wood-fired ovens, the brazier, and the historic lantern. The trattoria has been selected by the Tuscany region to host an initiative on quality standards and is also part of the Vetrina Toscana project.
