The origins of the business date back to the early 1900s, when Serafino Vannucci, the great-grandfather of the current owner, began taking the first steps in creating a nursery, dedicating himself to floriculture and horticulture. Over the years, his son Elio followed in his footsteps, expanding the production of ornamental plants and flowers, while also introducing services such as the long-term rental of ornamental plants to hotels, banks, businesses, and condominium entrances.
After many years, Elio passed the business on to his son Paolo, who carried out a significant modernization of the entire company structure. Since the mid-1990s, the business has also been managed by Simone Vannucci, Paolo’s son, who joined his father after earning a diploma as an Agricultural Technician. With his studies, Simone introduced technological innovations, improving plant cultivation techniques and partially digitizing the business, while also making it known to a wider audience through the internet.
Today, the company, “surrounded” by buildings and constructions, is considered one of the last green spaces remaining in the Piazza Dalmazia area.
