History

Since 1909

It was Vittorio Sieni, a man with a refined palate, who opened the confectionery shop in Via Sant’Antonino in 1909, where he dedicated himself to the creation of Florentine delicacies: Fedora, created in the 1930s; various types of Meringue; Zuccotto, created expressly for the Zocchi restaurant at Pratolino; the Torta della Nonna, which was followed by the Torta del Nonno and the Torta dello Zar – all creations of the Pasticceria Sieni, which first entered the Florentine confectionery artisan tradition and then the Italian one. Pasticceria Sieni guarantees the highest quality in the choice of ingredients and still today the production is based on the original recipe book of Vittorio and Giorgio Sieni, who at the beginning of the 1900s reworked other typical Tuscan products such as Brutti e Boni and Cantucci di Prato, making them the delight of an international clientele.
