Il Pastificio Serafino was founded in 1954 by Mario and Marcella as one of the many artisanal shops born in the post-war period, initially named “Pastificio Cherubino.” In 1969, it changed its name to PASTIFICIO SERAFINO S.N.C., and the business expanded, hiring its first employees. The company quickly gained popularity. In the mid-1970s, it participated in the prestigious culinary event “Firenze a Tavola” for five consecutive editions, receiving widespread acclaim. During this time, it also took part in numerous culinary events that highlighted the quality and “Italian essence” of its products, always standing out for the freshness and passion behind its work. In the following three decades, the Pastificio expanded and solidified its presence both regionally and nationally, forming partnerships with high-level clients. As a result, in 2004, the company was awarded recognition at Palazzo Vecchio for its fifty years of operation.
