History
Since 1955, 9 Novmbre
The shop was founded in November 1955 by brothers Luigi and Umberto Raspini, well known in the Florentine sports community as talented swimmers and water polo players for the Rari Nantes Florentia, and as European champions in the discipline. From the very beginning, the store, located on Via Pietrapiana, became a hub for the local sports community. On the morning of November 4, 1966, the shop suffered extensive damage due to the flood that struck central Florence. Since 1993, the store has been managed by Umberto’s two daughters, Vittoria and Roberta. In 2015, the store moved from its historic location at number 65/R to a new space at number 51, still on Via Pietrapiana, while preserving the shop’s traditional characteristics. The business offers a wide range of products for those seeking elegance combined with comfort, while keeping prices affordable. All items are made in Italy, except for English and Scottish knitwear, and jackets and shawls from Canada and Austria.
