The Buca dell’Orafo restaurant, located in a 13th century building once owned by Santo Stefano al Ponte parish, takes its name from the ancient goldsmiths’ workshops that had their premises here. Since 1945, the restaurant has offered Florentines and foreigners passing through, dishes linked to the Tuscan culinary tradition in a setting that recreates the typical ambience of an old Florentine trattoria.
